Points North Group of Companies

Points North has grown since 1984 along with the communities and companies it has served over four decades. Since the airport was first built it has been expanded several times and is now 5,848 feet long and continues to serve mining and exploration companies, tourist camps and the communities in the northeast Athabasca Basin with float plane, helicopter, charter, and regular scheduled air service.

We are dedicated to working together to contribute to Indigenous growth and success by fostering partnerships and initiatives that empower Indigenous communities. Through collaboration with local leaders, investment in education and job training programs, and support for Indigenous-owned businesses.

Points North

Serving Northern Saskatchewan for Over 40 Years

Points North continues to work to maintain the confidence of its customer sand investors. For the past two decades the three First Nations and four communities in the Basin invested in our company through the Athabasca Basin Development LP, Prince Albert Development Corporation and Peter Ballantyne Group of Companies. Points North is over 50% Indigenous owned. If companies in the north prosper, so do the communities and people in the north.
